The Many Forms of Motivation

What Motivates Us to Act?

Motivation is the desire to act in the service of a goal. It's the crucial element in setting and attaining one's objectives—and we know from research that people can influence their own levels of motivation and self-control. Research also shows us that humans are inherently motivated to better themselves and move toward expressing their full potential.

From my experience, I know that it can be helpful to gain a better understanding of the psychology behind WHY people behave the way they do in order to better understand our own behavior.

That’s why I created the The Many Forms of Motivation Email Series.

I want to help people better understand the leading forces behind what can be motivating factors in their behaviors so that they can gain insight into what motivates THEM to make the choices they do.

Meet Dr. Nguyen Tran, the Facilitator of The Many Forms of Motivation

Dr. Nguyen Tran escaped from Vietnam by boat when he was 12 years old. After 4 years as a Vietnamese refugee in a camp in Hong Kong, he came to the US at age 16. After attending high school in Northern Virginia and enrolling at George Mason University, he received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He went on to attend the renowned chiropractic school, National University of Health Sciences in Illinois. In 2004, Dr. Tran graduated with the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic. During medical school he acquired his certification in acupuncture. He is proficient in spinal rehabilitation and advanced chiropractic techniques.

For the past 16 years, Dr. Tran has given thousands of chiropractic adjustments and has helped patients achieve optimal health through natural means. With the knowledge of chiropractic, acupuncture, nutrition, physical rehabilitation and martial arts, Dr. Tran has developed a very effective method of treatment that not only reduces pain symptoms but also gets to the root of many joint and muscle conditions.

Gain Insight About Motivation and Reach Your Goals!

Motivation can have many sources, and often people have multiple motives for engaging in any one behavior.

It’s been my experience that when people widen their perspective about how the human mind works, they can gain more control over the manner in which they work to manifest their own destiny.

Not only can gaining a better understanding of motivation help people decide how to best motivate themselves moving forward, but they might be able to interpret what motivational tactics have NOT worked for them in the past.

My hope is that this resource can act as a catalyst for anyone who feels stuck in their lives and is looking for a way to move forward to better things.
